Todos los años, la prestigiosa revista británica Restaurant publica la famosa lista S. Pellegrino. Esta lista está configurada por los 100 restaurantes que ofrecemos a continuación pero se les presta especial atención a los 50 primeros, de ahí que muchas veces se hable de la lista de los mejores 50 restaurantes del mundo.
La siguiente lista ha sido llevada a cabo por chefs, periodistas y críticos gastronómicos u otras personalidades del mundo de la gastronomía.
